Rulemaking

Rules proposed by regulators can be problematic, but often, new rules or revision to existing rules can be negotiated in various ways.  We combine our experience in the rulemaking process and support counsel in identifying and resolving potential problems. Rules can include conventional standards, permitting manuals, agency policies, and other statements of criteria and policy. Rulemaking is subject to legal standards and procedures that require close review. We can assist in such a review as needed.
