ENVIROMENTAL REGULATORY SERVICES
The guidance provided by Environmental Regulatory Services is based on analysis and broad experience in Florida by owner Roger Sims. Roger served as legal counsel for a wide range of clients over his lengthy career. Services currently provided, however, are consulting in nature. We assist in preparation of applications and supporting studies, negotiation of staff reports and recommendations and presentation of the client’s proposal in various types of hearings. We also provide services to lawyers representing clients when environmental issues arise.
ERS can recommend top scientific experts for the project as needed to make the application defensible even under intense challenge. However, we understand the importance of avoiding unnecessary expenses, and we seek to provide the best possible result without litigation.
Environmental Regulatory Services works to find solutions that avoid conflict. Litigation is a “last resort”.
