Given the rapid population growth in Florida, and the limitations on traditional groundwater sources, alternative water supply is a major challenge to clients advancing residential, agricultural, industrial, and other developments. Likewise, capture and reuse of stormwater, potable reuse of treated wastewater, desalination, and aquifer storage and recovery are some of the alternatives under close review and consideration as permit conditions.
